A cannabinoid naturally found in the hemp or cannabis plant, CBD (cannabidiol) was discovered by Professor Raphael Mechoulam in 1963 in Israel.
Highly studied in medical settings under certain inherent therapeutic characteristics, CBD (or cannabidiol) and CBDa are naturally present in cannabis, legal or illegal.
It does not produce the psychotropic effects of THC and has relaxing properties fighting tale anxiety and stress, as well as many other medical properties, such as anti-inflammatory virtues for example.
CBD cannabis, with a THC content of less than 1, is totally legal in Switzerland.
Note: CBD cannot be used as a substitute for medical treatment, so take advice from your doctor.
